NIS Labs is looking for male and female volunteers between the ages of 35 and 75 to participate in a clinical study. The clinical study evaluates whether cholesterol levels can successfully be reduced by consuming a tea extract.
Potential study volunteers must have a BMI between 25 and 40. You can calculate your BMI here: BMI Calculator. Potential volunteers must not be taking statin medication and must not be taking other medication specifically for hyperlipidemia.

The study requires participants to consume either a tea extract or placebo twice daily for 20 weeks. Potential volunteers will visit the lab for a screening blood draw. If they qualify for the study, they will visit the lab for a baseline visit and again after 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 weeks to complete a health questionnaire and provide a blood sample. At the first and last visit a DEXA scan will also be performed.
Participants must reside in Klamath Falls or the surrounding area.
