[Recruiting Closed] 079-007 Blood sugar response associated with consumption of pu-erh tea

NIS Labs is looking for women and men – ages 18-60, BMI 20-30 – to participate in a clinical study.   The study requires each participant to consume 3 different doses of Pu-erh tea or water with a bland meal of soda crackers during separate weekly visits to NIS Labs.

There will be 7 visits to NIS Labs:

  • At visit 1, blood pressure will be measured, an ECG will be performed and a blood draw done to verify fasting blood glucose is between 70 and 125 mg/dL.
  • At visits 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, Pu-erh tea or water will be consumed with a prepared meal, blood pressure will be measured, a questionnaire completed and blood draws done.
  • At visit 7, blood pressure will be measured and a blood draw performed.

079-007 Timeline

Participants will be compensated for their time.
Participants must reside in Klamath Falls or the surrounding area.
